Hyeon-Seok Rou has received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2024 from Constructor University, Bremen, Germany, where he also received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2021 from the formerly named Jacobs University Bremen, Germany.
His research interests include next generation (B5G/6G) wireless communications systems, integrated sensing and communications (ISAC), signal processing and waveforms for high-mobility channels, multi-dimensional modulation, next-generation intelligent metasurfaces, V2X communication technologies, and quantum computing.
He has received the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Europe Research Scholarship Award from The Korean Scientists and Engineers Association in the FRG (Verein Koreanischer Naturwissenschaftler und Ingenieure in der BRD e.V.) in 2022, and he was a visiting researcher at the Intelligent Communications Lab (ICL), Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 2023.
